The Play Shelter began 10 years ago as a response to the needs of parents requests for quality and affordable childcare during school holidays. The Play Shelter is an Ofsted registered provision which enables parent’s/carer’s who work, study or entering into employment to access affordable childcare that offers good quality, good value and an excellent range of activities for children to enjoy. We provide February and October Half Term, Easter and summer holiday schemes within primary schools. Our schemes allow flexibility for parents needs and are accessible through good value. ‘Parents recognise the social benefits their children gain through informal educational activities and are increasingly aware of the social skills and developmental advantages that interaction with other children can bring. More and more parents and organisations are using The Play Shelter’s services as we are recognised as providing fun yet stimulating play opportunities and informal learning experiences for children.
